Split PDF exists because separating a filing, extracting an exhibit, or pulling out one section shouldn't require a tutorial. You upload once, drag pages into lanes, and download a zip. That's it.

Yes. Click "Add document" to create as many lanes as you need, then drag pages into each one. Every non-empty lane becomes its own PDF in the downloaded zip.
Yes — the file goes to our server to generate page thumbnails and to perform the split. Files are deleted immediately after your download completes. We don't store, log, or analyze the content of your documents.
Create a second lane, drag that one page into it, and download. You'll get a zip with two files — the extracted page and the remainder. You can also put all pages in a single lane and download it as a trimmed PDF.
