🔒 All generation happens in your browser. No passwords are sent anywhere.

Because every other generator phones home.

Most password generators — even the ones that claim to be free — make a server request to generate your password. That means your credentials pass through someone else's infrastructure before they reach you. This tool generates everything locally using the Web Crypto API. The page loads once. After that, the network is never touched again. You get strong, random passwords with zero risk of interception.

Built for anyone who takes access seriously.

Good questions. Simple answers.

Is my password actually never sent to a server?

Correct. Generation uses the browser's built-in Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues). After the page loads, no network calls are made. You can verify this by turning off your internet and generating passwords — it works fine.

How long should my password be?

16 characters is the practical minimum for most accounts today. 20+ is better. For anything high-value — banking, email, admin accounts — use 24 or longer. Length adds more security than complexity alone.

What does "exclude ambiguous characters" do?

It removes characters that look similar in certain fonts: 0 and O, l and 1, I and l. Useful when you need to read or type a password rather than paste it.

Can I generate passwords that meet specific org policies?

The free tool covers common rules — length, character sets, ambiguous exclusions. If your organization needs passwords auto-generated to a documented security policy, integrated with your onboarding workflow, or delivered as a branded internal tool, let's talk →

What's the batch generator for?

When you need to provision multiple accounts at once — new hires, class setups, bulk service users. Generates 10 unique passwords in one click so you can copy each individually.

Should I store these passwords somewhere?

Yes — use a password manager like Bitwarden, 1Password, or your browser's built-in vault. Never reuse passwords across sites, and never store them in a plain text file.

Want this built for your organization?

We can build a branded internal password generator that enforces your specific security policy — minimum length, required character types, forbidden patterns, and bulk export. Delivered as a self-hosted tool or embedded in your existing intranet.
